Positive Thoughts Please

I’m still in the process of looking for a new place in New York. It’s been about 2 weeks now and it’s been a very frustrating and tiring experience. Since I don’t currently live in the city (and it takes 3 hours from my place in CT to get into the city), looking at places has been difficult given the quickness of the rental market in NYC.

However, I just came across a really promising place last night. The price is right and the apartment is amazing. It’s a roommate situation. I met the guy, a young banker, and he seems cool. Basically, he’s having a bunch of people see the place (he got over 30 responses from Craigslist) and then is whittling his choices down to 3 and having drinks with those people on Thursday. He plans to make a decision by Friday.

I really want this place so if you could all think positive thoughts for me (or say a prayer), I’d appreciate it. I really need to find a place because the 6 hours commute is killing me.
