NYC's Da City: Food, Beer, and Friends (Part IV)
Waking up in Margo's new place in Williamsburg, my intention was to grab my stuff from Vero's and head back to CT, but once I got to Vero's, Kerel and she convinved me to stay for a little longer. To make things short, we went down to the West Village to Corner Bistro. A very small place, but it had amazing burgers. Phil met up with us for a little, which was nice since I hadn't seen him in a while, though he couldn't stay for long. After that, Kerel convinced us to go to McSorley's, which happens to be one of the oldest bars in NYC. It's now one of my favorites. We drank there for the rest of the afternoon where I proceeded to get completely trashed. Around 6 pm I figured it was time to head home. The only things I really remember from then on are the taxi telling me to get out of the cab, the train conducter telling me to get off the train and then Vero calling me later in the night to make sure I got home safely and telling me that after McSorley's, she had gone to work drunk and then proceeded to go out drinking some more. God I love New York.
