A Couple More Travel Related Things...

So I updated my travel plans a little below. Biggest change was that through a wonderful turn of events with how airline tickets are priced, I got my company to pay for me to fly out (and back) to LA to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and niece after my work rotation ends. I'm ending my rotation in Atlanta and the original plan was for me to fly back to Hartford. I asked my company if they would just pay instead to fly me from Atlanta to LA and that I would pay for my ticket from LA back to Hartford. So we had the travel agent price it all out and as luck would have it, by flying to LA from Atlanta and then back to Hartford (with a layover in Atlanta) instead of just from Atlanta to Hartford, I'm saving my company over $250!!! It doesn't make sense, but since I'm savin the company, my boss said the company would pick up the cost of the sidetrip to LA. How can argue with that?

Also, the trip to Dublin is shaping up nicely. Our lovely hostess Karola (who I just figured out was a girl; for a while I thought she was a guy because of the pictures on her blog; turns out that guy is her boyfriend, i think) has some fun stuff planned including an Ireland vs. England rugby match. I've also told Kee Won and Arnaub that we must do something cultural, i.e. visit the following: Storehouse and Distillery. Also, Becky might take a break from her studies at Oxford and join me in Dublin or Amsterdam.
