American Idol 6 Reject - Sarah Goldberg

This is from last night's episode of American Idol. This girl went to Williams. She was a freshman when I was a senior. Though I think she's saying that this was all an act (which is believable), from what I remember of her, she was sort of a nut job. Either way, this is kind of hilarious.

I'm a bad person...

I'm a bad person (and so is my co worker) for finding this story funny, but just reading the headline made me laugh and then when I read the story, I almost cried...from laughing.

My conversation with my co-worker, Anne, follows:

Anne: Why didn't she just get out of the way?

Me: Well, the story says that "A witness told Austin television station KTBC the train sounded its horn right up until the accident occurred." But she's Miss Deaf Texas...so she couldn't hear the horn I'm guessing

(a little bit of laughter follows)

Anne: Well, why didn't the witness do anything to save her?

Me: Well I bet the witness was screaming at the girl to move and get out of the way, but like I said...she's Miss Deaf Texas...she couldn't hear the witness..

(obscene amount of laughter>
