It's My Party And I'll...

I talked to Haley (my niece) for a good 15 minutes on Tuesday. That's a pretty big feat since she is 2 1/2. I understood maybe the first 30 seconds of our conversation because she was running around the house while we were talking and spitting out sentences at a ridiculous pace.

The best part was when my mom first gave her the phone. My mom said, "Haley, its Uncle Eric. You said you wanted to talk to him."

Haley grabs the phone and says, "Uncle Eric, I miss you; I want to give you a BIG hug!" (I almost died at this point)

Then she said, "Come to my party!" You see, in Haley's world, everyday is her birthday and of course what do you do on your birthday? You have a party!
