Cash Rules Everything Around Me

With the new year here, I'm trying to become more financially responsible by setting goals for the year, thinking ahead to save for big purchases and travels, and to get a better sense of how much I'm spending and on what. I've actually done a good job so far. Since I started working in July, I've kept decent records on my spending. Here are some fun stats on how much I've spent from July-Dec 2005 and on what:

Gas: $936.74
Total Auto Costs: $2,921.08
Clothing: $3,427.32 (this is a lot, but includes 3 new suits and other new clothes for my job so its not as bad as it looks, sort of)
Electronics: $1,047.76
Groceries: $982.05
Alcohol: $757.19 (ouch...but this includes the costs from my 22nd birthday in NYC which was expensive)
